Villa Dell’Angelo is an elegant and historic Tuscan residence, set in a peaceful position among the rolling hills on the western slopes of Mount Albano, just 250 metres above sea level. The villa offers an authentic, refined atmosphere, curated by the owners over the past 50 years with remarkable antique pieces, ensuring every space tells a story. Florence, Lucca and Pisa are all within easy reach, making this a perfect base for exploring Tuscany while enjoying complete countryside tranquility.

The outdoor areas are designed for relaxation and scenic living. The magnificent infinity pool (8m x 16m, depth 1.35–2.50m) is reserved exclusively for guests and features a generous hydromassage area for up to eight people. A spacious sun terrace surrounds the pool with umbrellas, loungers, tables and chairs. Close by is a dedicated children’s corner, and below the pool you’ll find a peaceful stone seating area with an antique marble table — ideal for enjoying long Tuscan evenings.

Inside, the villa blends timeless elegance with modern comfort. Antique doors, Persian rugs, and historic architectural details create an atmosphere of refined charm, while contemporary features ensure total relaxation. A private well-equipped gym, hydromassage facilities (including Jacuzzi bath and hydro-showers), and a Turkish bath provide a luxurious wellness experience, allowing guests to unwind in spa-like comfort without leaving the property.

The owners’ passion for Tuscan heritage is evident in every detail. The spacious lounge and dining room can seat up to 14 guests and features views of the garden and pool, while the traditional Tuscan kitchen includes a historic marble sink and fireplace alongside modern appliances.

On the ground floor there is a cosy sitting area, a stunning kitchen, and a double bedroom with direct access to a covered veranda overlooking the hills and pool, perfect for outdoor meals. There is also a bathroom combining antique features with a contemporary shower.

A stone staircase with a 17th-century wrought-iron bannister leads to the first-floor bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with Turkish bath/shower and a beautiful view towards the illuminated medieval village of Monsummano Alto. A second double bedroom overlooks the valley, olive groves and pool, and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom, which has twin beds that can be converted into a double on request. This bathroom features a Jacuzzi bath, shower, chromotherapy lighting and aromatherapy. All rooms retain original cotto floors and exposed wooden beams restored with great care.

Guests enjoy a wide range of modern comforts including air conditioning throughout, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, mosquito screens, baby equipment, a gym, Jacuzzi bath and Turkish bath.

Entertainment options include Bluetooth speaker systems, satellite TV and Netflix. Outdoors there is alfresco dining, a BBQ, playground, table football and beautiful views.

A welcome basket with a light dinner is provided upon arrival, along with a continental breakfast on the first morning. A mid-week cleaning service with bathroom linen change is also included, along with bath towels, pool towels, bed linen, a cot and highchair.

Monsummano Terme with shops and supermarkets is just 2.5km away. Florence airport is approximately 35 minutes, Pisa airport 40 minutes, and Siena around 90 minutes.
