Also on this level are two bedrooms: a large double room with shower, and a smaller twin bedroom with en suite shower room. On the first floor, a further double bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe opens onto a large terrace with steps leading down to your private orchard. L’Eremo, meaning “the hermitage”, dates back to the 1600s and once belonged to the historic Ricasoli family. According to local legend, the famous “Iron Baron” Ricasoli retreated to these hills and invented Chianti wine here. Whether myth or history, the estate remains deeply rooted in Chianti’s winemaking tradition.
The estate itself has been carefully restored and includes working wine cellars, which are central to life here. Guests can enjoy guided vineyard tours with a sommelier followed by expert tastings of the estate wines. Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 25% of the grand total is due no later than 2 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 56 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation must be made in writing. The cancellation charge will be the full deposit if you cancel before 56 days from the departure date. The following cancellation charges will also apply. Cancellation less than 56 days before departure 100% of the amount paid is chargeable. We will endeavour to re-book any cancelled booking and if successful will only charge you an administration fee of £30. If the villa is re-booked at a lower price then you will be refunded the difference.
Tourist tax not included in the price. Payable to the owner upon arrival
We advise that you to take out holiday cancellation insurance. You are also asked to take out personal holiday insurance to cover such matters as travel, loss of money or belongings, accident, injury and medical expenses as the use of a property is entirely at the client’s risk. Should the owner be unable to provide the property after a booking has been confirmed, you will be immediately offered the choice of a another similar or better property or a refund in full.
