Farmhouse Feriale II is a charming ground-floor apartment of approximately 80 sqm, ideal for 4 guests, with the option to accommodate up to 2 additional guests on a sofa bed in the living area. Set within the renowned Tenuta di Petrolo, the apartment is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and enjoys a sunny southern exposure, with open views across the rolling Chianti hills and the Val d’Ambra valley. Feriale II is located approximately 650 metres from the main estate house, Villa Petrolo, ensuring peace, privacy, and a relaxed countryside atmosphere while remaining part of the estate.

Feriale II occupies the ground floor of a traditional farmhouse, with the larger apartment Feriale I located on the floor above. The two properties are completely independent and do not share any internal or external spaces, with separate entrances on different sides of the building, making Feriale II particularly well suited to couples, small families, or friends seeking privacy within a larger estate setting.

Outside, the apartment has its own private garden area with pergola, outdoor dining table, and BBQ, ideal for relaxed meals in the open air. Firewood is provided free of charge all year round. The swimming pool, measuring 6 × 12 metres with a depth of 1.5 metres, is located close to the house and is shared only with La Vigna and Feriale I, offering a peaceful and uncrowded swimming experience in a beautiful countryside setting.

Feriale II combines traditional Tuscan character, comfort, and excellent value, making it an ideal choice for guests seeking an authentic wine estate stay in Tuscany, with space, views, and easy access to the region’s cultural highlights.

Feriale II forms part of the Tenuta di Petrolo, a historic Tuscan wine estate located on the hills of Val d’Arno di Sopra, on the southeastern edge of the Chianti region. The estate extends across vineyards, organic olive groves, oak woodland, and private lakes, and lies within easy reach of Florence, Siena, and Arezzo, all approximately 30–45 minutes away by car.

Petrolo is internationally known for its award-winning wines and organic extra virgin olive oil, produced using low-yield, quality-driven methods. Guests are welcome to arrange winery visits and guided tastings, with the opportunity to purchase estate wines and olive oil directly on site. The ancient Tower of Galatrona, with origins dating back to Etruscan and Roman times, dominates the surrounding landscape and lends its name to some of Petrolo’s most celebrated wines.

The estate accommodates guests across six properties in total — the historic Villa Petrolo and five independent farmhouses — hosting up to 79 guests altogether. Villa Petrolo sleeps 33 guests, Bòggina sleeps 9, La Vigna sleeps 10, La Costa sleeps 8, Feriale I sleeps up to 10, and Feriale II sleeps up to 6 guests including the sofa bed. This flexible layout makes Petrolo particularly well suited to large family gatherings, weddings, and private events.

A distinctive feature of the estate is its private chapel, where guests may also choose to celebrate weddings and blessing ceremonies in a truly atmospheric and historic setting. All events, guest services, and experiences can be fully organised on site with the support of the experienced and very helpful estate manager, Marco, ensuring a smooth and memorable stay.
