Villa Le Fontanelle was lovingly restored by the Gonzi family in 2003. Drawing on their experience from previous renovations, they preserved the home’s original Tuscan character while adding modern comforts expected of a high-end countryside villa. From terracotta floors to antique Tuscan furnishings, every detail reflects respect for tradition combined with elegant, luxurious touches.

Outdoor Spaces

The villa's landscaped grounds are designed to complement the natural beauty of the Orcia Valley. A spacious lawn allows for uninterrupted panoramic views, while terracotta pots with geraniums, wild roses, lavender, and rosemary surround the property. The highlight is the large private swimming pool (5.15m x 15m; depth: 90cm–1.70m), positioned on a terrace overlooking the rolling Tuscan countryside.

Relax by the poolside on comfortable loungers, enjoy sunset cocktails under open skies, or dine al fresco in the covered outdoor living area equipped with a fireplace, traditional pizza oven, barbecue, and large dining table, ideal for long summer evenings in Tuscany.

Villa Le Fontanelle is divided into two independent levels, making it ideal for large families, multi-generational holidays, or groups of friends travelling together in Tuscany. The ground floor, once the original stables, comfortably accommodates ten guests, while the top floor sleeps four additional guests. The thoughtful layout ensures privacy and comfort for larger groups. A laundry room with washing machine, hangers, ironing board, and iron is also available.

Payment Policies

A partial payment in the amount of 30% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 90 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation must be made in writing. The cancellation charge will be the full deposit if you cancel before 90 days from the departure date. The following cancellation charges will also apply. Cancellation less than 90 days before departure 100% of the amount paid is chargeable. We will endeavour to re-book any cancelled booking and if successful will only charge you an administration fee of £40. If the villa is re-booked at a lower price then you will be refunded the difference.

We advise that you to take out holiday cancellation insurance. You are also asked to take out personal holiday insurance to cover such matters as travel, loss of money or belongings, accident, injury and medical expenses as the use of a property is entirely at the client’s risk. Should the owner be unable to provide the property a/er a booking has been confirmed, you will be immediately offered the choice of a another similar or better property or a refund in full.
