Set in the peaceful countryside of the Garfagnana valley, the agriturismo overlooks rolling fields with uninterrupted views towards Castiglione di Garfagnana.
Built using local stone, classic terracotta floor tiles, and solid chestnut timber, Tramonti offers genuine Tuscan charm with good quality, traditional furnishings. The property is split between two separate farmhouses on the same plot, positioned around the central swimming pool.
The Yellow House sits in a prime position for panoramic valley views. On the ground floor, La Calendula is a spacious three bedroom apartment sleeping six guests, with two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, a family bathroom, kitchen, living area, and a private outdoor seating space facing Castiglione.
On the first floor, Le Begonie sleeps four guests across two bedrooms, featuring one double room, one twin room, a bathroom, kitchen, and a private balcony for outdoor dining over the valley.
The Stone House sits directly behind the pool area. Gli Archi sleeps four guests across two double bedrooms, featuring a characterful internal brick arch, a large open plan living and kitchen area, a bathroom, and a private outdoor dining patio overlooking the pool.
Le Rose is a cozy south facing apartment sleeping four guests in two double bedrooms, complete with its own kitchen, bathroom, and private outdoor seating area. Extra cots or small beds for children up to twelve years old can be added to the double bedrooms on request for a small daily charge.

When you rent Tramonti, the entire agriturismo grounds and private swimming pool are reserved exclusively for your group. The central pool is positioned to take full advantage of the Tuscan sunshine and surrounding mountain backdrop. Each of the four apartments has its own private outdoor dining area, and large groups wanting to eat together can easily bring tables together outdside. There is a traditional wood fired pizza oven, a BBQ and also a small outdoor games room on site to keep children entertained.

While Tramonti offers a peaceful rural escape, it is conveniently located within easy walking distance of two authentic Tuscan villages, meaning you do not have to rely on a car for every meal or quick trip to the shop.
A pleasant five minute walk brings you into Villa Collemandina, a quiet village with an excellent local restaurant which couples as a cafe for morning coffee. A short scenic walk in the other direction takes you to Castiglione di Garfagnana, listed as one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy, where you will find three restaurants, two cafes, and a couple of village food shops.

To ensure complete clarity for your stay at Tramonti, please note the following compulsory and optional extra costs, which are payable on arrival:
Tourist Tax (Tassa di Soggiorno): €0.50 to €1.00 per person per night (depending on high/low season), applicable for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. Children under 14 years of age are exempt. This tax must be paid strictly in cash at check-in.
Refundable Security Deposit: €150.00 per apartment, payable in cash upon check-in. A formal receipt will be issued. This deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay, provided no damage is caused to the property and the apartment is left in a clean and tidy condition. (Note: Details regarding house rules and potential deductions for left-behind mess or trash are provided inside each apartment).
Heating Charges (On Consumption): Unlike our year-round properties, Tramonti has a defined operating season (generally running from mid-June to the end of September). Heating is available if required but is charged separately based on consumption at approximately €4.50 per cubic metre of LPG gas, read directly from each apartment's individual meter.
Extra Cot or Child’s Bed: A baby cot or a small extra bed for children up to 12 years old can be added to the double bedroom of any apartment upon request for €15.00 per day.
Weekly Linen and Towel Change (Optional): Fresh bed sheets and bath towels are provided for your arrival. If an extra change of linen and towels is requested during your stay, the cost is €30.00 per person.

Key House Rules & Useful Information
Check-in Time: Between 16:00 and 21:00. (If you anticipate arriving outside these hours, please inform us in advance so we can arrange suitable accommodations where possible).
Check-out Time: By 10:00 on the morning of departure.
Check-out Cleaning Expectation: Apartments must be left clean and tidy upon departure. Guests are required to wash their own dishes and dispose of all food waste and rubbish in the designated recycling bins outside the house.
Swimming Pool Hours: Open daily from 09:00 to 21:00.
Pet Policy: Pets are strictly not permitted at Tramonti unless otherwise agreed.
Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 25% of the grand total is due no later than 2 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 56 days prior to arrival.
In the event that you wish to cancel or amend your Booking, the lead name on the Booking is required to advise us in writing by email to info@friendsoftuscany.com and the effective date of any cancellation or amendment shall be the date that written notification is received by us. The cancellation charge will be the full deposit if you cancel before 56 days from the departure date. The following cancellation charges will also apply. Cancellation less than 56 days before departure 100% of the amount paid is chargeable. We will endeavour to re-book any cancelled booking and if successful will only charge you an administration fee of £50. If the villa is re-booked at a lower price then you will be refunded the difference.

Total number of occupants will not exceed the quoted number unless agreed.
Please send photographs of your passports to the owner prior to your arrival, as these must be registered at the local council office. The owners, number is in the information sheet.
Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times when using or near the swimming pool area.
Electric Vehicles: EV charging is not permitted at the property. Electricity is provided for standard household use only.
