Villa Ruggero is a restored olive oil farm offering spacious accommodation for large groups of family or friends wishing to holiday together in Sicily. The property has been carefully restored to a high standard and retains its original character, combined with practical modern features. It is set at 800 metres above sea level in the typical Sicilian countryside, on the edge of the Madonie Natural Park and approximately one hour from the sea at Cefalù.

The estate enjoys a peaceful setting with extensive panoramic views across the surrounding landscape, including views towards Mount Etna. The nearby town of Polizzi Generosa is located just 3 km away and is known for its archaeological significance. The area is also close to the largest rock salt mines in Europe. The interior of Sicily offers varied and often striking landscapes, which guests can explore during their stay.

The farm has been owned by the same family for several generations and has been restored using traditional building techniques and materials, alongside subtle modern elements. The layout is distinctive, with three dry-stone buildings connected by cobbled paths, creating a sense of space and privacy across the estate.

The accommodation is arranged over two floors within these buildings and includes 11 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Three bedrooms have balconies overlooking the main courtyard and Italian-style garden, while the remaining rooms face different views of the Madonie countryside. One of the bedrooms is larger and includes a double bed and a bunk bed, making it suitable for children or a small family. A small apartment is also included within the property, featuring two bathrooms and an internal staircase. In total, the villa offers 28 bed spaces, and baby cots are available.

The main building includes a large dining room with seating for up to 28 guests, as well as a lounge area with a distinctive fireplace. There is a fully equipped self-catering kitchen designed to accommodate cooking for large groups.

Outside, the infinity swimming pool is a key feature of the property. Measuring 16 metres by 5 metres, it is suitable both for relaxation and for swimming, with enough space for guests to exercise as well as enjoy leisure time.

A range of activities can be arranged locally, including guided trekking within the Madonie Natural Park. Horse riding is available approximately 3 km from the property. Visits to local farms can also be organised, where guests can learn about traditional cheese making and olive oil production, and cooking lessons are available on request.
