Villa Torricella is located in Sillicano, a small village in the Garfagnana region of northern Tuscany, an area known for its dramatic landscapes, rural traditions and quieter atmosphere compared to central Tuscany.
The villa sits prominently on a hill and can be seen from far down the valley. The region is sometimes referred to as “Hidden Tuscany,” offering excellent walking, nature trails and outdoor activities.
Sillicano has a village shop just 200m from the villa, supplying fresh local produce and essentials.
Castelnuovo, only 5km away, is the nearest large town with a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafés and a weekly market. Castelnuovo also has the nearest train station, offering a connection to Lucca in around 50 minutes. Many interesting nearby villages and sites can be explored, including San Pellegrino, Corfino, Silico, Barga, the Fortress at Verrucole and Piazza al Sercchio.
The villa is well placed for day trips to Tuscany’s major cultural centres.

Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 25% of the grand total is due no later than 2 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 56 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation must be made in writing. The cancellation charge will be the full deposit if you cancel before 56 days from the departure date. The following cancellation charges will also apply. Cancellation less than 56 days before departure 100% of the amount paid is chargeable. We will endeavour to re-book any cancelled booking and if successful will only charge you an administration fee of £30. If the villa is re-booked at a lower price then you will be refunded the difference.

We advise that you to take out holiday cancellation insurance. You are also asked to take out personal holiday insurance to cover such matters as travel, loss of money or belongings, accident, injury and medical expenses as the use of a property is entirely at the client’s risk. Should the owner be unable to provide the property after a booking has been confirmed, you will be immediately offered the choice of a another similar or better property or a refund in full.
