The villa includes two large bedrooms (one sleeps three), a generously sized living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a hamper of fresh organic produce from the owner, Massimo, who also shares his homemade wine, olive oil, and cheese throughout your stay.
Guests visiting in late September or October have the unique chance to participate in the grape harvest and witness traditional winemaking.
Nestled in the heart of Garfagnana, often called 'Hidden Tuscany,' Castiglione is known for its breathtaking scenery and reputation as a center of musical excellence. Castelnuovo, the nearby market town, offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops, as well as a lively weekly market.

Casa Massimo is situated in Castiglione which is one of the main villages of the spectacularly beautiful area known as the Garfagnana, arguably the most beautiful part of all Tuscany. There are 3 restaurants, 3 bar/ cafes, a grocery shop and green grocers and a weekly market in the village. The village is well known for its many festivals.
Castelnuovo, the nearby market town, has many restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets and all other types of shops. There is a tourist information office, train station and a weekly market selling a wide variety of fashion, household goods, flowers, fruit and vegetables.

Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 25% of the grand total is due no later than 2 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 56 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation must be made in writing. The cancellation charge will be the full deposit if you cancel before 56 days from the departure date. The following cancellation charges will also apply. Cancellation less than 56 days before departure 100% of the amount paid is chargeable. We will endeavour to re-book any cancelled booking and if successful will only charge you an administration fee of £30. If the villa is re-booked at a lower price then you will be refunded the difference.

We advise that you to take out holiday cancellation insurance. You are also asked to take out personal holiday insurance to cover such matters as travel, loss of money or belongings, accident, injury and medical expenses as the use of a property is entirely at the client’s risk. Should the owner be unable to provide the property after a booking has been confirmed, you will be immediately offered the choice of a another similar or better property or a refund in full.

Total number of occupants will not exceed the quoted number unless agreed.
All trash and perishables must be disposed of and dishes washed before departure.
Final cleaning included in the price quoted.
Towels, bed linen and pool towels provided.
Logs for open fire (if applicable) provided.
Central heating may be charged as extra for for colder periods - please enquire.
A damages deposit may be requested by the owner. You will be informed if this is the case.
