Equipped with a kitchen and dining room, comfortable living room with a flat screen TV, pellet burner and WiFi, a double bedroom with flat screen TV and with the possibility of adding a single bed or baby cot, and a modern and stylish with large shower. The apartment has a system with heat pumps for air conditioning in summer and warm air in winter.
The newly landscaped garden boasts a lovely swimming pool which is surrounded by olive trees. French doors from the kitchen/ living lead to the outdoor patio which is comfortably furnished.
There is a nice BBQ area for the guests to use.
Il Poderino is neighboured by another Friends of Tuscany house 2 bedroomed Villa Martinelli only 100 metres away.

The apartment is a small flat that is located opposite of Federica‘s family‘s house and really cosy and super clean. It is perfectly suitable for couples or a couple with one child and has everything you need for your stay. If you cook a lot, don‘t forget to bring a sharp knife and e.g spices :) Federica is super welcoming and always has some great tips with places to visit in Tuscany - thank you again Federica for the great time :) The pool is super nice! It is a little walk from the apartment and lies next to Federica‘s house but is still private. If you travel by car and drive a SUV you might find it difficult to navigate through the narrow streets - we travelled with a BMW X3 and managed to drive through :) bigger cars may have some challenges. We would definitely recommend to stay there and would book again :)

Great bungalow located on the property where the owners live. There is plenty of privacy. The house is stylishly finished, beautifully decorated and very clean. Beautiful private terrace and on the roof a panoramic terrace with great views over Pistoia. The pool is a few minutes walk, via a beautiful winding path through the olive grove, away from the house and completely private for use. Everything is beautifully laid out, spacious terrace with sunbeds and loose chairs. Outside shower, toilet block, nothing is missing. In addition, the house is also very conveniently located between Lucca and Florence. The owner and her family are very helpful and friendly but also give you your privacy. We are very happy that we have booked this property and we definitely recommend it. We give it a big 10!

My wife and I had a lovely stay in this property, the host and her family were so hospitable, considerate and helpful. The property is so well looked after and sits on the side of a hill within an olive grove with stunning views overlooking Pistoia. The pool was perfect!

We spent 2 glorious weeks here the apartment is very comfortable and perfect for 2 people. Federica is a wonderful host so kind and welcoming with great recommendations of new places to visit. The proximity to Pistoia, Lucca and Florence made it easy to explore these places and have dinner out most evenings. The pool is just beautiful so clean and a great place to relax. We would highly recommend a holiday here it is all thoughtfully designed with the comfort of guests in mind, a truly beautiful place!

We enjoyed our stay at Federica and Simone and their daughter Guia, Marte the dog and Luna the cat as well as grandparents. The accommodation is perfectly clean and functional even though a microwave could be useful as a dish washer. The latter is located near the city of Pistoia but a car is essential to get there. To visit Tuscany is a perfect location since all major cities to visit are 30 minutes or 1:30 maximum. The accommodation does not overlook the pool which requires to take a small path in the middle of the olive grove to get there which is convenient with a toddler. The hosts are caring, discreet and very attentive; we thank them for their wonderful welcome.

A perfect location, situated on the hills above Pistoia: an elegantly appointed self-contained apartment under the terrace of the main house - a lovely two minute walk up through one of the estate's olive groves to the private swimming pool set in a well-designed garden from where there are views down to Pistoia in the distance. An excellent base for exploring Florence, Lucca, Prato, and Pistoia itself. Simone and Federica Braccini, and their daughter Guia were the perfect hosts: the family dog Marte, was huge fun and a great companion! Looking forward very much to returning.

The property is up a very narrow road to the north of Pistoia. So take care! It’s a new structure, perfectly comfortable for 2 but the sitting room is a bit dark with olive drab walls and not enough light to read by. So, spend your time by the lovely pool! Frederica could not have been a better host but it is helpful to have WhatsApp on your phone. And Pistoia is a working town with 2 fantastic old squares in the centre, one with the daily fruit and veg market.
In the small village of Valdibrana, situated above the historic city of Pistoia, 9 km from the city centre. Pistoia itself is around 30 km west of Florence, and within easy distance of the 'Art' cities of Pisa and Lucca.
The immediate surrounding area is notable for its production of highest quality Tuscan olive oil, and the proprietor has won several prizes for his.....definitely a house for olive oil enthusiast!
Pistoia has a medieval centre, with an impressive town wall, a magnificent duomo, baptistery, Dukes Palace and interesting medieval public buildings. The old city is an excellent shopping centre, with a great market, fine restaurants and cafe bars. Outlet shopping with some of the most famous labels in the world is nearby.
There are several artistic and cultural events held during the year, notably the Pistoia Blues festival and 'Joust of the Bear' festival.
Coast/Beach:
The Tuscan coast has many resorts, notably Viareggio which is an hours drive.
Travel:
Nearest airports are Pisa and Florence which are around 60 minutes drive.
There's a good train service to Pistoia from Pisa or nearby Florence.
