This is a lovingly restored and very well equipped old house with a beautiful terraced garden which has a private swimming pool. There is an enormous living room and kitchen, furnished with interesting period country furniture and 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 people.
The house is in the interesting ancient village of Cardoso, with views of the fine church and over to the Appenine mountains. There is a bar and pizzeria in the village and the village is well known for the art exhibition it holds each summer.
The art city of Lucca is only 30 minutes drive from Cardoso, and in the other direction the beautiful Garfagnana with its national parks is also only 30 minutes drive.
