Villa Carla is a comfortable and spacious retreat, ideal for families or groups of friends. Located just 800 meters from the lively town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, it offers easy access to local shops, restaurants, and historical sites. The villa can accommodate up to 14 guests and is a great base for exploring Tuscany’s national parks, coastline, and nearby attractions.

The villa features a 14-meter saltwater swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, surrounded by a large garden with views of the Apuane Alps and the surrounding valleys. The pool area, open from mid-May to September, is equipped with wooden furniture and towels for your convenience.

With three national parks nearby, as well as the Bagni di Lucca thermal baths, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, climbing, and horse riding. There are also tennis courts in Castelnuovo and a 9-hole golf course just 6 kilometers away. Villa Carla is set on nearly an acre of private land, with traditional Tuscan architectural features such as handcrafted chestnut beams and terracotta tiles. The interior is spacious, with a grand hallway and a staircase that adds to the villa’s charm.

The villa has two sitting rooms, one of which has leather sofas, a large-screen TV, a computer with broadband internet access, and a CD player. French doors open out to the patio area, offering a connection to the outdoors. The dining area seats up to 14 people, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast table for eight. A second kitchen with dining for six provides more flexibility for larger groups.

There are seven bedrooms in total, six of which are doubles and one is a twin. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, sharing a shower room and separate toilet. One of the ground-floor rooms has direct access to the garden. The other five bedrooms are located upstairs and all have en-suite bathrooms, wardrobes, and TVs. The master bedroom also includes a dressing area and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and dual sinks. Three of the upstairs bedrooms have French doors leading to a balcony with views of the garden and the surrounding mountains.

The basement has a garage for two cars, with additional covered parking available outside. There is also a bathroom with a shower, a laundry room with a washing machine, sink, and ironing facilities.
